Terms of use

Version 1.1 · 9 August 2026

These terms govern your use of kdemic.com. They are not a software licence and not a services agreement, because no software or service is offered for sale through this website.

1. What this site is

An informational website describing a project in development, together with a form for getting in touch. Access to the Kdemic software is by invitation only and is governed by separate terms provided at the time of invitation. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell, a commitment to provide access, or a promise that any described capability will be released.

2. Statements about the product

Features described as in development are not available. We label them as such throughout, and you should read every forward-looking statement on this site as a current intention rather than an assurance. Intentions change as a project develops.

3. No guarantees about outcomes

Kdemic is built to help researchers produce work they can stand behind. What it cannot do is promise how that work will be received. Journal acceptance, peer-review outcomes, research validity, plagiarism-checker results and the classification produced by any AI-detection system are outside our control, and Kdemic is not offered as a means of influencing any of them.

Responsibility for the accuracy, originality and integrity of a manuscript, and for meeting the requirements of a destination journal, employer or institution, remains with its author. That is the same responsibility an author has always held, and Kdemic is designed to support it rather than to substitute for it.

4. Not professional advice

Kdemic is a writing environment, not an advisory service. Nothing on this site constitutes legal, medical, regulatory or scientific advice, and the sample outputs shown here illustrate how the software behaves rather than recommending how any particular study should be designed or conducted.

5. Intellectual property

The Kdemic name and logo, the content, design and code of this website, and the methodology described on it belong to the founder. The underlying computer-implemented methodology is the subject of U.S. Provisional Patent Application No. 64/079,374, filed 1 June 2026.

You may read, quote and link to this site normally, with attribution. You may not copy its design or substantial parts of its content for a competing product, present its content as your own, or reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract from it.

6. Your enquiry

Please do not send confidential information, unpublished manuscripts, patient data or personal data about third parties through the contact form. It is not a confidential channel and we cannot treat what arrives through it as confidential. If you need to share something in confidence, write first and we will arrange an appropriate route.

Ideas and suggestions you send us unsolicited may be used without obligation or compensation. This protects both of us: we cannot accept a claim over a feature we were already building.

What we do with the personal data you enter is set out in our privacy notice.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use this site to submit false or misleading information, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, to interfere with its operation, or for any unlawful purpose. We may decline to respond to, or delete, any submission at our discretion.

8. Links to other sites

Links to external sites, including KelleniIndex.com, ORCID and publisher resources, are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

9. Availability and liability

This site is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, and may be unavailable, changed or withdrawn at any time. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of, or reliance on, this website. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Changes and governing law

These terms may be updated, with a new version number and date shown above. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law and jurisdiction will be specified once the operating entity is incorporated, and this page will be updated at that point. Nothing in these terms affects any mandatory consumer protection available to you where you live.
